About the Event

Getting ready for fall job hunting? The Uxbridge Youth Centre (UYC) is hosting a free Resume & Cover Letter Bootcamp on Tuesday, September 15th at 4:30 PM, designed specifically for high school students looking for part-time or full-time employment.

In partnership with community professionals from the Durham College Employment Centre, this interactive group workshop will guide youth step-by-step through drafting high-impact resumes and tailored cover letters-even without prior formal job experience. Participants will learn how to highlight volunteer work, extracurricular achievements, and transferable skills to stand out to local employers.
